OBITUARY: Darrel Anderson of Ocala, Fla., died peacefully Monday, June 2, 2025. He was 82.

Family and friends are invited to come and join in a celebration of Darrel’s Life on Saturday, June 14, at the Silver Springs Moose Lodge 1199 in Ocala, Fla., from 4-7 p.m. A second Celebration of Life and burial will be held this summer when he is laid to rest in Grygla, Minn., near the family farm.

Darrel Duane Anderson was born in 1943, in Cody, Wy., the eldest son of Gilmer and Francis (Skime) Anderson. He grew up in Grygla, Minn., and graduated from Goodridge High School in 1961. After four years in the U.S. Navy, Darrel went home to Minnesota where he married Myrna, his wife of 45 years. They lived in Kimball on the family farm.

OBITUARY: Rebecca "Becky" Foreman died May 9, 2025. She was 78.

Rebecca Kay Hendrickson was born in 1946 to Heimer and Mildred Hendrickson of Kingston. She graduated with honors from Kimball High School in 1964, and later North Park College in Chicago, and the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

OBITUARY: Deanna Scheeler of Cold Spring died peacefully at Quiet Oaks Hospice Home on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, after a courageous battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer. She was 70.

Please join us to celebrate Deanna’s life Tuesday, June 10, at Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church with Pastor Bob Tumberg officiating. Visitation will be at 10 a.m., funeral service at 11 a.m., and a luncheon will follow. Friends and family are welcome to visit from 4-8 p.m. Monday, June 9, at Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond with an open-mic Sharing of Memories to be at 7 p.m. A private family burial will take place later in June at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery-Little Falls, where she will be dutifully watched over by Lloyd’s Brothers in Arms.

Deanna Saukkola was born to George and Doris (Holm) Saukkola in 1955. Deanna graduated from Kimball Area High School in 1973, and soon after met the love of her life in 1975, marrying Lloyd Scheeler in 1976.

OBITUARY: Richard "Rick" Kinzer died Tuesday, May 6, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas, surrounded by family. He was 79.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 16, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, with visitation to follow at 12 p.m.

Richard Lee Kinzer was born in 1945 to John and Margaret Kinzer. He grew up on a farm in Watkins. He graduated high school from St. Boniface in Cold Spring, and obtained a degree in psychology/sociology at St. Johns University in 1967. Rick and Kathy were wed in 1980.
