Opening Weekend Snow Update ❄🚨

The forecast has shifted, and we are not getting the jump on snowmaking as early in the week as we had hoped for... the (hopefully 🤞) natural snow coming is also bringing along a little warmer temps and higher humidity than we like. Our prime snow making window is now lining up for Thursday into Friday... 👀 To maximize it, the slopes will be closed this Friday 11/28, so we can keep the snow guns going full blast for as long as we can!

But don't worry, opening weekend is still ON:
⛷ Saturday 11/29: 10 AM - 5 PM
(Season Pass Holders Only 👍)

🏂Sunday 11/30: 10 AM - 5 PM
(SPH + Everyone welcome!)

We're excited to get this season started, but we know to give you guys the best season possible, we have to take FULL advantage of all the prime snow making windows Mother Nature gives us! Be sure to keep checking back on our socials/website for the latest updates as we have them.

Front Desk/Ski Shop will be OPEN on Black Friday (11/28) from 8 AM - 4 PM for anyone wanting to come in for holiday shopping and/or score their Black Friday Gift Cards in person!

🛒 New Saturday Hours + Donation Drop-Off Updates! 🛒

The Kimball Area Food Shelf is exploring expanded hours to better serve our community! For the next 6 months, they will be open on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM, in addition to the regular Tuesday and Thursday hours. Starting November 8th!

Their hope is with this added flexibility it helps more families access what they need. 💛

📍 New! Donation bins are now available inside Kimball City Hall during business hours — and we’ve added an after-hours drop box for your convenience (on the south side of the building inside the door). Every contribution helps nourish our neighbors!

📅 Regular Hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30–10:45 AM
🆕 Saturday Hours: 2nd Saturday of the month, 9:30–10:45 AM
🏛️ Donation Drop-Off: Inside City Hall + After-Hours Box or at the Food Shelf during their open hours

Death Notice:
Ernest “Ernie” A. Heinen
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2025 at Assumption Catholic Church in Eden Valley for Ernest “Ernie” A. Heinen, age 72, who passed away Monday at his home. Rev. Donald Wagner will officiate and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Assumption Catholic Church and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Parish prayers will be Thursday at 7:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Eden Valley.
