I can imagine a time when I can have a drone tethered to my cell phone and following me around. The drone can provide WIFI, security, and information about what might be happening around me: good and bad. I can be wearing a pair of iGlasses with a microphone, heads-up display and a twiddler as my keyboard. WIth these devices connected to the internet through the WIFI Drone, I can do almost anything from almost anywhere....

Searching for a new job is a lot like a Full Time Job! While you are searching, give some thought to how you can supplement your income with something Part Time. It might actually turn into a long lasting side gig for you. For now, I am doing numbers: 3, 6, 11, 12, 22, 24. They may not be producing a huge amount of income but they do provide something for me to do while I am waiting for someone to decide to interview me for a consulting contract or full time engagement. Would it hurt for you to try one of these ideas or one of your own while you continue your search?

The entire phrase has been: "Necessity is the mother of invention." However, in my experience, it is much more telling to just say: "Necessity is a Mother." 'cause most people get what that means. I can think of many situations where I have been driven by Necessity even tho' what I ended up doing was not necessarily of my choosing....

Once there was a time when the political parties in our country had clear principles and goals. There were Democrats and Republicans and we, the people, could not only understand the differences but we could rely on the party members to persistently represent those differences. Now that Trump and 2020 are behind us we are left with Democrats who are marginally similar to their principles and Republicans who are not anything like their earlier party beliefs. They chase fools and fear an idiot. Can we ever return to some semblance of (small d) democratic order?
