The Stokes County Waste Transfer and Recycling Station, located at 2015 Sizemore Road in Germanton will be closed from September 29th through October 4th, 2025, due to a scheduled paving project.

Paving of the site will be completed earlier in the week with the rest of the time allotted for the asphalt to set up before reopening. The facility will reopen for normal hours on Monday, October 6th. All other Green Box sites will be open for normal hours during this time and will not be affected by the paving project.
