Why I Had to Write this Book?

For several years I’ve carried a burden that has only grown heavier.

After forty years in ministry, I’ve sat with wounded church members, hurting pastors, missionaries, and families trying to make sense of leadership failures. Although every story was different, I kept seeing the same biblical pattern.

I began writing Holy Ground: Why Toxic Leadership Cannot Survive Where Holiness Lives in 2018—not in response to one person or one recent event, but because I became convinced the Church needed more than reactions. We needed Scripture.

My prayer is that it encourages the wounded, challenges leaders to guard their hearts, and reminds every believer that God’s design for His Church is still beautiful.
