Another great reason to adopt an older dog vs a puppy:

Senior dogs tend to slide right into our busy lives. If you have kids or a demanding job, you know how crazy life can get. A senior dog doesn’t need 24/7 attention like a puppy does.

A dog that is more mature can adjust to our busy schedules much easier. Keep in mind the 3-3-3 rule of adopting any rescue dog. All rescue dogs and puppies need time to decompress and adjust to a new home.
