Surviving Soundgarden members revealed their long-awaited final album featuring vocals from the late Chris Cornell is nearly done, following the years-long legal battle with his estate.

They also announced they’ll appear at the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction next week, joined by Seattle-area legends like Brandi Carlile, Jerry Cantrell, Nancy Wilson, and others, for what promises to be a deeply emotional performance.

🎸 Megadeth Make Big Move Before the Mic Drops 🎸

Thrash legends Megadeth are gearing up for what may be their final chapter — with Dave Mustaine confirming the upcoming self-titled album (dropping Jan. 23, 2026) will include a cover of Ride the Lightning — the classic he co-wrote during his early days with Metallica.

Mustaine says the move isn’t about one-upmanship — it’s about respect and “closing the circle” on his 40-plus-year career.

In a heartfelt Halloween-nod to her late father Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Osbourne shared a playful video of her son biting the head off a stuffed bat — a tongue-in-cheek reference to one of rock’s most infamous moments. The toddler, dressed in a skeleton outfit and red cowboy boots, grinned wide in the clip captioned: “Learned from the greatest, Papa!”
