After nearly 50 years in captivity, Raju the elephant was finally rescued and given the freedom he had never known. In July 2014, Wildlife SOS carried out a difficult nighttime rescue in Uttar Pradesh, India, after years of efforts to secure his release.
Raju had been used as a begging elephant and was found in extremely poor condition, restrained with chains. During the rescue, his rescuers noticed tears streaming from his eyes, which they interpreted as a powerful emotional response to being freed. Today, Raju lives at the Wildlife SOS Elephant Conservation and Care Centre in Mathura, where he receives food, medical care, and a safe environment. His story became a symbol of hope for rescued elephants. ❤️

A father is taking an extraordinary journey across the United States with his son, turning thousands of miles into a powerful message about family, determination, and inclusion.
South Korean father Bae Jong-hoon and his son Bae Jae-guk have spent years traveling together. Jae-guk uses a wheelchair because of a rare muscular condition, and his father has continued pushing him through long-distance journeys and endurance events. In 2026, they planned an approximately 4,500-kilometer journey from Los Angeles to New York, hoping to inspire people living with disabilities and remind them not to give up. Their story shows how far a father’s love and determination can go. ❤️

A father once pushed, pulled, and carried his son through some of the world’s toughest endurance races, proving that determination and love can overcome enormous challenges.
Together, Dick and Rick Hoyt completed six IRONMAN triathlons, including a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike ride, and full marathon. Their journey inspired millions and became one of the most powerful father-son stories in sports. ❤️

On September 11, 2001, 27-year-old Elizabeth Wainio was aboard United Flight 93 when the plane was hijacked. During a phone call with her stepmother, Elizabeth focused not only on what was happening but also on how difficult the moment would be for her family.

Near the end of their conversation, she told her stepmother that passengers were preparing to go toward the cockpit, then said she had to go and expressed her love before ending the call. Her final words became part of the lasting history of Flight 93 and the passengers who tried to take back control of the aircraft.
