Well…this is officially real. 🖤

Seeing The Jackson Theatre post this honestly hit me a little differently.

On September 12th, the first FOUR episodes of Dread Pops are going to play on a movie theater screen. 🫨

I decided I want this night to be for everybody so admission is completely FREE.

I want to invite friends from every corner of my life. Friends I see all the time. Friends I haven’t seen in years. Photography clients. Wedding couples. Horror people. Music people. People I grew up with. People I’ve worked with. People who have supported every weird creative thing I’ve ever done. Even if you have absolutely no idea what Dread Pops is…come.

I want to fill this theater.

Not because of ticket sales....There aren’t any....I just want to look around when those lights go down and see a room full of people sharing this ridiculously special night with us.

We made these to be experienced BIG, in the dark, and LOUD.

MONDAY: We’re filming something really cool for Dread Pops

I’ll be at the venue behind the Italian Pizza Pub filming the credit sequences for every episode, and I want as many weird, wonderful, talented humans there as we can get.

We still need a couple more bands. Any genre. You’ll perform/mime along to an original track of your choice while we film you.

But you absolutely do not have to be in a band.

Play an instrument? Come.

Dance? Come.

Do something strange on stage? PLEASE come.

Want to dress like an absolute lunatic? Perfect.

Want to show up looking completely normal and just be part of the crowd? Also perfect.

We need extras. We need performers. We need characters. We need variety.

Basically, if you’ve ever wanted to sneak your face into the credits of a horror series…

I finally did it.

I’ve officially booked a venue that will appear at the end of every single Dread Pops episode. Shoutout to the amazing Italian Pizza Pub for allowing us to capture the magic on their stage. 🙏🏻

When each story ends…

…it’ll hard cut to a live performance.

Different bands.
Different crowds.
The same strange place.

Sometimes it’ll be packed.
Sometimes it’ll be completely empty.
Sometimes…you may notice familiar faces from previous episodes.

Now I need your help.

I’m looking for:
🖤 Local bands that want to perform.
🖤 Extras who don’t mind acting a little…strange.
🖤 Horror fans who just want to be part of something weird.

Filming will take place August 17th, and I’d love to pack this place with people/bands.

If you’ve ever wanted to say, “I was in a horror series,” this is your chance.

On September 12th, we’ll be showing the first few episodes of Dread Pops at The Jackson Theatre and I genuinely hope we can pack the place with horror fans, friends, ghouls… and plenty of chocolate.

This project has been a labor of love, and I can’t wait to finally share it with you.

We will be revealing more spooky bits leading up to the launch. Please give us a share, and let's celebrate all things spooky. 🖤🎃
