rings in the holiday season with a new production of “Elf: The Musical”, playing at the historic New Hope, Pa., venue from November 21 through January 4.

Based on the beloved film, the musical follows Buddy the Elf on an adventure from the North Pole to New York City to discover who he truly is — and in the process help deliver some holiday magic to the Big Apple.

The show is recommended for children age 8 and up. Children under 4 are not permitted in the theater.

The is an annual Thanksgiving morning race featuring a timed 5K run and a family-friendly 1-mile walk. The 2025 event will take place on Thursday, November 27 at Mercer County Park in West Windsor. The 5K race is at 8:30 a.m., and the walk begins at 8:45 a.m.

All proceeds benefit local food banks and pantries in Mercer County, helping neighbors in need during the holiday season.

Since its beginning, the Turkey Trot has grown from a small community gathering into a sold-out holiday tradition that attracts runners, walkers, and families from across New Jersey.

The event offers professional timing, a USATF-certified course, and a festive start to the holiday season.

In this week’s Theatre Review, shares his experience of “Dutchman and The Slave”, now on stage at through November 16.

“Passage Theatre is presenting ‘Dutchman and The Slave’. The production links a pair of 1964 plays by Amiri Baraka. Written during the height of the civil rights movement, both dramas depict an explosive relationship between an African American man and a white woman, each using poetry and allegory in the telling of their story.”

The award provides an unrestricted grant of $25,000, and is given to an average of 30-40 teachers nationwide per year.

Acclaimed music director, pianist, arranger, and orchestrator Andrew Wheeler directs performers Abi Bohn, Emilie Bienne, Isaac Silver, and Aidan Babbitt, and musicians William Shea and Don Simpson, in some of Broadway’s greatest hits.
