Obsessed doesn't cover it — 182 hummingbird videos in one day and I'm not even sorry.

Turns out my feeder flowers aren't all equal either: purple blooms flat-out outperformed the yellow and red ones.

AI Slop pages from overseas🤬🤬🤬🤬
They’re also called content farms.

These are the pages feeding you false information and lately they’ve exploded. With the midterm elections around the corner I’m positive they’re getting paid extra to manipulate the algorithms too.

How does it work?

They find trending topics.
They mass produce content to get likes, push you to a random website and get paid. Some of these stupid pages are ranking up 100k+ followers by baiting you. Most of them lead back to the same overseas media agency.

Please for the love of all things REAL…don’t fall for them!

I block them when I see them on my feed because they steal my content. This is also why I stopped my long form writing on Meta and moved it to a website or my subscribers. It’s upsetting when I write a great post and then see it scraped by AI garden pages a few days later.

Other creators out there…BOLO they steal your ideas and make a sh*tload of money doing it😩

My hummingbird camera caught more than a hummer today — it caught receipts.

114 degree heat index today.

The exotic Bermuda grass?
Dead and dying ☠️

Native ground covers?
Green, thickening up by the week, and thriving on nothing but what falls from the sky (well, and the runoff from watering my trees — no extra effort required).

Frog fruit.
Horse herb.
False mallow.
Wild petunia.

The "lawn" is checked out for the season.
I’m allowing it to die.

These natives are just getting warmed up.
Built for this heat, this soil, this drought.

Grass Yard: dying.
Hummingbirds: thriving.
This is the trade I made.

It was 114 heat index today🔥
The only thing I water are my trees, and it’s by hand only. Not many blooms available for the swarms of migratory hummingbirds so I’ve added two feeders.
