Meet Valerie, a miniature dachshund who vanished on a holiday and somehow stayed alive for 529 days in the Australian wilderness.
She went missing in November 2023 on Kangaroo Island in South Australia, after slipping away near Stokes Bay. Her owners searched hard, but the scrub was thick and she disappeared.
