🌲ONE WEEK LEFT to order from our 2025 4-H Fresh Wreath Fundraiser🌲

We are selling both Fraser Fir and Mixed Greenery wreaths this year! Wreaths are handmade with fresh Fraser Fir, boxwood, and other greenery clippings.

Please place all orders by November 10, 2025. Pick up will be at the Lenoir County Cooperative Extension Office on November 25, 2025 OR December 1, 2025.

Cash and checks payable to Lenoir County 4-H are accepted. No card payments.

The 2026 Coastal Plains Chicken Project registration is now open! 🐓

Visit https://lenoir.ces.ncsu.edu/2026cp for more information about the project and to access the Registration form.

Birds are $5 with a two bird minimum. This year's layer breed is the Red Star Hen.

Please pay with cash or check only. Checks are to be made out to NCCE-Onslow County with ‘2026 Chicken Project’ in the memo line.

Please turn in registration forms and payment at our office located at 1791 HWY 11/55 Kinston, NC. The office is open Monday-Friday 8:30a-5:00p.

On October 3, members of our Lenoir County 4-H Shooting Sports Club who qualified at Regionals competed at the NC 4-H State Shooting Sports tournament in Ellerbe, NC. Some of the members shot their personal bests!

We are so proud of this team and coaches for their hard work and dedication year after year. What a great group to represent us at State competition!

Earlier in the week, the club enjoyed some bonding time at the Lenoir County Fair. What a great start to October 🍀

A huge thank you to Tractor Supply in Kinston for their support of our Equestrian 4-H Club. Tractor Supply allowed the club members to set up a bake sale in the parking lot, which resulted in $285 raised for their club’s programs and efforts!
