We are having a blast at 4-H Congress 2025 so far! Youth have participated in interactive workshops, attended educational tours around NC State, and even ended the night last night with a silent disco. We have a lot more to look forward to and learn as we continue with the rest of the week! 🍀

Gary Tuller competed in NC 4-H State Presentations on Monday. He blew the judges away with his knowledge on the ins and outs of magic, and left them wow’ed with his magic trick demonstrations! 🪄

Huge thank you to Rotary Club of Kinston

The grand finale, the recipients of the Rotary grants. Rotarians work diligently throughout the year to raise funds to give back. The following non-profits that received $1,000 grants are: Harmony Hall, Friends of the Homeless, Council on Aging, Kinston Strong, Cry Freedom Ministries, Safe, EPIC, RADD, 4-H, Backpack Buddies, and Pawsitive Changes.

Kids had a blast at the Children’s Garden learning all about cucumbers with the Extension Master Gardener Volunteers! From making books to tasting fresh cucumbers, campers explored the life cycle of a cucumber and made their own healthy snacks. Each child went home with fresh picked vegetables from the garden and delicious cucumber focused recipes 🍀🌱🥒

Camp Cloverbud was a blast on Tuesday! Our youngest 4-H’ers explored new books, made new friends, and had a blast learning through hands-on activities inspired by the Clover Quest curriculum. Youth even made and took home their very own friendship bread starters 🍞🍀
