English I students visited the North Carolina Museum of Art thanks to a grant from the Learning Happens Here Foundation of North Carolina. Under the guidance of docents, they toured the current exhibit “The Time is Always Now,” also known as “The Black Figure Reimagined,” and wrote ekphrastic poems based on their favorite piece of art.
