September belonged to Nighthorn.
October belongs to Lunaris. 🌙

She was built from layers of black, purple, lace, and a little bit of the impossible.

This is where her story begins.

What do you see first: the gown, the landscape, or the magic?

Nighthorn was built in pieces.
Armor. Fabric. Hardware. Layers. Hours. Mistakes. Revisions.

Then Colorado gave her somewhere to exist.

This month, you’ve seen the making, the movement, the details, the landscape and the character.

But a finished costume isn’t really finished when the last stitch is sewn.

It’s finished when it becomes part of a story.

Nighthorn is now part of the archive.

And there are more stories waiting inside The Enth Stitch. 🖤🪡

Not every moment in a character’s story needs to be powerful.

Some moments are simply quiet.

Water moving past.
Stone beneath you.
Armor finally still.

Those quieter frames matter too. They give a character somewhere to exist between the action.

Would you want to see more of the quiet moments behind a character? 🖤🌊

There are moments when the world around a character stops feeling like scenery.

The light changes.
The colors shift.
The forest starts telling its own story.

That was the feeling I wanted for Nighthorn.

Not a costume placed into a landscape, but a character who could actually belong there.

If your character had a world of their own, what would it look like? 🌲✨

Some characters enter a world.

Some characters belong to it.

Nighthorn was always meant to feel like she could walk into the forest and find something waiting for her there.

The costume is only part of the story.

The landscape, the light, the creatures, the atmosphere… they all become part of the character.

If Nighthorn encountered this creature, do you think she would trust it? 🦌🌲✨

You see the character from the front.

But sometimes the back tells you more.

The cloak changes how she moves.
The armor changes her silhouette.
The layers create movement even when she’s standing still.

Every angle matters when you’re building someone who needs to exist beyond a single photograph.

Which do you notice first in costume design: the front, the back, or the silhouette? 🖤🪡

Not every frame needs to announce itself.

Sometimes the character gets to simply exist.

The armor catches the light.
The fabric moves with the wind.
The landscape keeps going.

And for a moment, nothing needs to happen.

That’s part of building a believable world too.

Would you rather see the adventure, or the quiet moment between adventures? 🖤🪡

A costume can tell you what someone is wearing.
Character tells you why.

Nighthorn was never designed as armor alone. She needed a place, a history, a reason to move through the world the way she does.

Sometimes character is in the expression.
Sometimes it’s in the way someone stands.
And sometimes it’s simply in the moment when they stop and look around.

What makes a costume feel like a character to you?

Before a character enters the landscape, the landscape has already been telling the story.

Stone has weight.

Armor has weight.

A good costume has to communicate both without making the person underneath disappear.

Nighthorn was built to feel grounded, capable, and a little dangerous.

The landscape understood the assignment. 🖤

What should a costume tell you before the character says a word?

Not every moment in a costume story needs to feel powerful.

Some of them just need to feel lived in.

The character sits.
She watches.
She waits.

Those quieter moments matter too.

Nighthorn wasn’t designed as a statue.

She was designed to exist in the world. 🖤🌲

Would you rather see a character in motion, or caught in a quiet moment?
