Watching my daughter swim for the first time reminded me of faith. The water looked big, but she stepped in because her father was close. That is how we must trust God. Even when life feels deep, unknown, or uncomfortable, our Heavenly Father is watching over us. He will not let us drown in what He called us to walk through.

I don’t need to argue with people about whether God is real. My life is the evidence. I know where He found me, what He delivered me from, and who I am becoming because of His grace. 🙏🔥

Following Jesus doesn’t mean life will be perfect. It means you have peace in the storm, strength in the battle, and God’s presence through every trial. Don’t confuse hard seasons with God leaving you. He is still with you.

Jesus is the Bread of Life. The world can feed your flesh, but only Jesus can satisfy your soul. When you come to Him, you will never be spiritually hungry again. Stop chasing what leaves you empty and start feeding your spirit with the Word of God.

John 6:35 — “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry…”

The peace Jesus gives is not temporary, fake, or based on perfect circumstances. The world gives peace only when life feels easy, but Jesus gives peace in the middle of pressure, pain, fear, and uncertainty. Don’t let your heart be troubled. God’s peace is stronger than the storm.

Before you ask God for anything today, take a moment and praise Him.

Praise Him for waking you up.
Praise Him for your family.
Praise Him for the battles He already brought you through.
Praise Him because even when life is heavy, God is still faithful.

If you have breath in your lungs, you still have a reason to give Him glory.

I can’t go back to who I used to be, because my kids need the man God is making me into. They don’t need the broken version of me. They need a father who is present, strong, sober, faithful, and covered by God.

God didn’t just free me for me. He freed me so I could be there for my family, lead my children, and show them what it looks like when a man changes by the power of God.

My past had chains, but my future has purpose.

And part of that purpose is being the father my kids deserve. 🙏🔥
