Independence Day is upon us, there is a whole lot to be thankful about, and we appear to be on the path to save ourselves, from ourselves.
Our media has exposed itself as a group of failed king makers and unrepentant muckrakers, longing to control the U.S. government.
We have a populist president, in the White House, who finds it better that our enemies fear us and that our friends understand us, if the can't love us. He is cutting off financial aid to those who don't support us and advancing an "America First" agenda all around the world.
Domestic America haters have been put on notice to either "shape up or ship out". Everything is looking brighter.

The month of June was one of both pleasure and pain. My son visited us for a week and playing tourist was fun. We celebrated his birthday, with a poolside party and 22 showed up. We could have doubled that, but short notice didn't help.
It was a good, but all to short time.
On June 9th the inspiration for USofAmade.com passed away. He was Vic Edelbrock, Jr. a hotrodder and business man, who took his father's Earthbased business into the statosphere.
Vic put pride into everything he did and appeared in many company commercial, always ending them with the proud mention that his products were "Made in the US of A".
Vic even inspired the name of our sight. Rest in Peace, Vic.

Facebook keeps putting up these photos that they begged me to contribute. They serve to remind me that time passes faster than we might wish and we are being pushed towards an inevitability.
Another thing is that I should have learned more from my mother. Whenever a camera was in the area Mom would keep her hand ready to protect her face from the harmful rays that cameras always seemed to emit.
Our family has scrapbooks filled with my mother's hand and other family members, in many lovely U.S. vacation spots.
These photos serve to remind me that I need to be showing a lot more hand. Thanks for the tip, Mom.
