This week's VIP adoptable pet is Gia!

Gia is a female, Labrador mix, around 8 months old, she arrived very underweight at about 30 pounds.

Gia has sadly spent her young life living outside tied to a porch not being properly cared for. She is very sweet and willing to learn all that a loving family can teach her, she seems to enjoy the company of other dogs, walks on leash and of course loves treats.

If you are interested in adopting Gia the shelter is located at 4240 Washburn Way, Monday through Friday from 12:00 - 4:00, walk throughs are available, pet visits are by appointment, you can reach the shelter at 541-884-PETS (541-884-7387)

KLAD Christmas Tour of Lights - Brought to you by Howard's Meat Center

KLAD & Howard's Meat Center have teamed up to find the best decorated houses in the basin! Each week from December 9th until Christmas, we will select a winner from the nominated houses to win a $100 gift certificate to Howard's Meat Center & a coveted yard sign saying they are one of the best decorated houses in the basin - a prize only 3 houses will win!

To nominate a yard, whether it be yours or someone's house you see driving around town, send a text to 541-850-7552. Text us the word "LIGHTS" and the address of the house. No names are needed.

All houses will be added to our KLAD Christmas Tour of Lights list that will be released on December 22nd for people to enjoy! Good Luck!

This week's VIP adoptable pet is Lynn!

Lynn is a female, Labrador type mix, around 3 years old, she weighs about 55 pounds.
Lynn is a talkative, very happy girl with a medium level of energy, who loves toys. She walks on leash, knows sit, seems to get along with other dogs but is unknown with kitties.
