After years of drinking their Lattes, eating their extravagant lunches, and getting paid for work they weren't doing... REALITY IS SETTING IN ON HOW THEY WERE LIVING HIGH OFF THE HOG AND THINKING THEY WERE GOING TO RETIRE FROM THE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT ON A GREAT PENSION!

Well, I guess these current unemployed workers weren't so lucky like the other thousands of Ed Dept. retirees who managed to live that life and go unscathed! This is what happens when you fall asleep at the wheel of the vehicle you thought would safely drive itself to your destination and drop you off unscathed! YOU GOT TOO COMFORTABLE AND FELL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL! Worse of all... A GREAT NUMBER OF YOU VOTED FOR THE MAN WHO HAS BECOME YOUR WORSE NIGHTMARE!!!

Oh, did I mention that... "YOU FELL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL"???

All it takes is an idea!

Heman Bekele hails from the beautiful country of Ethiopia, where he saw laborers working in the blistering sun with little to no skin protection.

“When I was younger, I didn’t think much of it, but when I came to America, I realized what a big problem the sun and ultraviolet radiation is when you’re exposed to it for a long time.”

This sparked a fire in Heman, and he immediately got to work on a way to help. His goal is to create an affordable soap that could treat skin cancer. The soap would deliver cancer-fighting drugs via lipid nanoparticles — which work to activate the body's immune cells to fend off cancer.

Heman’s hard work and dedication to treating cancer has won him the grand prize in the 3M Young Scientist's Challenge in 2023 as well as being named Time’s 2024 Kid of the Year!

A U.S. District Court in Louisiana issued a permanent injunction preventing the EPA and DOJ from using Title VI of the Civil Rights Act to influence how Louisiana regulates polluting facilities. The ruling blocks the EPA from enforcing disparate impact-based requirements in permitting decisions, a move criticized by activists and environmentalist organizations as undermining civil rights and environmental justice.

The EPA stated it remains committed to enforcing civil rights laws, while EarthJustice warns the decision could embolden other states to seek similar exemptions, allowing pollution to disproportionately affect marginalized communities.

Actor Bill Cobbs, known for his roles in "Night at the Museum," "The Bodyguard," "Air Bud" and more, has died, a rep for Cobbs confirmed to Good Morning America. He was 90.

Cobbs made his first big-screen appearance with a small role in 1974's “The Taking of Pelham One Two Three." He became a lifelong actor with some 200 film and TV credits.
