I am very blessed to be raised by my Father Glen G. Gessele, a North Dakota farm boy, God called into ministry. He has worked for the Seventh-Day Adventist Church for 54 years as a pastor, and Planned Giving and Trust Service director and Officer. He baptized me and taught me how to play Monopoly, how to work hard and manage money. He never forgets anyone’s name and tithes faithfully and supports twelve different charities with mom each year. He has a soft heart and cries easily when it matters most. He has walked beside me weekly when I have faced challenges, without creating drama. So thankful for my father and living legend and example and legacy he continues to be.

Now that ALL alleged ethic violations the commissioners brought against Klamath County Sheriff, Chris Kaber, have been dismissed, I am calling for swift due process and speedy justice from the Oregon Department of Justice (DOJ) so ALL officers (3 sworn and 1 non-sworn)—currently under investigation/on administrative leave—can face discipline or be cleared and return to their duties.

For the past 10+ months, taxpayers have paid to be served and protected, while these state-level investigations have have been underway, sidelining our officers. I think it is high time the DOJ at least gives a timeline for completing their investigations, respectfully.
