Rams execute almost flawlessly on offense, defense and special teams. As a result, they average nearly 11 yards per play while permitting zero each snap. The Ville's four punt returns for touchdowns (with another negated by flag) is a first for this spectator. So is the efficiency and expediency of its scoring strikes from start to finish. Big battle for runner-up in Cap 8A this week at Leesville Road. This bunch sure looks ready.

Warriors deal with Knight fight in every frame, but results stay the same. East Wake sweeps all nine-of-nine games as they rule both regular season meetings and this tournament matchup.

Pirates use their environment to tighten the tension against Rams. Their offense continually applies the pressure, leaving the No. 2 team in the Cap 8A Conference to play catchup most of the night. Time and a motivated team prevenmt it from happening the last 60 minutes. Great game, for sure.

Warriors whip early breakaway and penalty kick past the posts, but did not coast from there. Knights deflect any insurance, then tighten the tension in the last minute. East Wake took the rival prize, however, and the premiere Northern Six Conferencevictory that went with it.

Knight Quarterback Jamel Perry has never been better, hitting 13-of-19 slings for 351 yards and three TDs. Forget the lone INT, because he also added 51 rushing yards and another score. His biggesnt punching partner proved to be Jalen Moore, who caught five toses for 173 yards and a pair of cha-chings. He also double dutied it with double-digit tackles and a pick six. All-in-all, it's all good as entire squad allowed nil from the enemy.

Knightdale’s Fall on First Avenue was a fantastic celebration of the season and community spirit! Held at Knightdale Station Park, the event brought together families, friends, and neighbors for an afternoon full of fun, flavor, and fall vibes.

Visitors enjoyed delicious food from local favorites like the Naked Empanada, Gospel Catering, Unhinged Coffee, and Treasure Box Ice Cream, while BSA Troop 347 served up their famous BBQ plates to support a great cause. The park buzzed with excitement as kids painted pumpkins, visited the petting zoo from Barefoot Creek Farms, and took hayrides through the crisp autumn air.

A wide variety of craft vendors filled the park, showcasing handmade goods, art, and seasonal decor. Beautiful mums provided by the Two Green Thumbs Garden Club added the perfect touch of fall color. Live music from Love Tribe kept the energy high and had everyone dancing, laughing, and enjoying the moment.

From the smiles on children’s faces to the sense of connection among neighbors, Fall on First Avenue was another shining example of what makes Knightdale such a special place to call home.
