Eagles flocked to a sweep over the Raptors on the eve of Christmas break. For the girls, it put their first season W in the record book. For the boys, it was another among seven and a tremendous campaign beginning. Both groups were severely tested, but both passed with flying colors. Good luck in 2026.

Rams pounce on Warriors, unleashing a balanced attack with four guys reaching double figure points, another notching eight and five more getting on the board. Jayvon Chestnut chalked up 15 and 12 rebounds to pose the most towering presence. But his entire entourage raged toward its fifth-consecutive victory at East Wake's sake.

The Town of Zebulon has announced the recipients of its first Non-Profit Mini-Grant Program, awarding $20,000 to organizations whose work supports Vision 2030 and enhances services for residents.

Rams press the reboot button with a starting majority of freshmen. They have a long way to go to match the 87 wins from the prior class, but this first face-off with neighboring Warriors was a huge step forward. Four biggest rookie contributors anchored the scoring, rebounding and defending during an almost tip-to-stop lead. Warriors are young and hungry, too, and they made this the first close call in the 2020s.
