We are the Bakers. A tight-knit, active family based in Knoxville, Tennessee. I’m Chrissy, a proud Knoxville native. I work full-time from home as a customer service representative and my husband Matt is the manager, buyer, doer of all the things at a local furniture company. He is also the rock of our busy household.
Together, we are raising our daughter Kennedy who is 11. Kennedy is amazing. Truly. She loves wrestling, track & field, cross country, singing worship songs, makeup, and video editing. She brings so much life and passion to everything she does.
As a family, we are incredibly dedicated to both wrestling and running. Matt coaches both! Sports aren’t just hobbies for us; they are a big part of our family’s lifestyle and values.
Our family has been making a conscious effort to grow closer to God, individually and together. We have been focused on praying together, reading and studying to better understand God’s word, and having deeper conversations about faith. We have felt a renewed sense of peace, purpose, and unity in our home. Strengthening our relationship with God is helping us strengthen our bond with each other.
We are a homeschooling family! Homeschooling wasn’t always part of our plan, but it has truly become one of our biggest blessings and I cherish every moment.
We have two dogs and two cats that fill our home with so much love. Chaos & love.
