ltic and Folk. Then, we throw in a little roots music from other parts of the world, as well as some good old rock-and-roll and the latest releases in Americana music. WDVX offers our listeners a variety of specialty shows featuring music you can't hear anywhere else. WDVX also provides local and regional musicians an outlet for their talents. Weekdays at noon WDVX broadcasts live performances from our studios in downtown Knoxville.

Big Plate lineup for January & early February!

As you may have heard, the Blue Plate Special is on pause while Visit Knoxville renovates their Visitor Center. We're excited for the updated venue coming this spring. In the meantime, every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday we will play the Blue Plate Special Revisited at noon.

Thankfully, you can still catch the Big Plate every Friday at Barley's Knoxville!

WDVX announces a brief intermission for its Blue Plate Special as the Visit Knoxville Visitor Center undergoes renovations to its first-floor gift shop and performance space, expected to be completed by May 2026.

During construction, weekday and Saturday Blue Plate Special performances and First Friday Live shows at the Visit Knoxville stage will pause. The Friday Big Plate Special will continue at Barley's Knoxville in the Old City!
