This Saturday from 10-5 is the biggest event ever to be held at the castle. There will be dozens of sword fighters, 3 medieval entertainment groups, a food truck and 15 to 20 renaissance vendors. Free admission! Don’t miss it.

It’s fun to examine the differences of how fashion changed throughout the centuries that fall within the middle ages, and of course all throughout history. This person is trying out the 14th century.

I’m currently returning back to 13th century focus for an event in February.

Do you have a particular century you like best when looking at the middle ages?

The amount of men I have to block on this app (because there’s a point I refuse to engage anymore and give attention to these guys) is unreal. More than any other platform.

It’s quite clear that I attend events that is categorically medieval FANTASY, and I cannot participate in a single trend without some knucklehead telling me to “die on the field” or meticulously pick apart the fact I’m a woman in battle and won’t live to tell about it. I’m a woman…in a FAKE BATTLE WITH FOAM WEAPONS that most of these people couldn’t make it up a hill, much less in armor.

Do you honestly think I take myself as seriously as you clearly do? Is your ego so fragile that you feel it necessary to only comment something nasty or stupid when you could simply move on?

For those that say “then don’t be online” or “it’s stupid to post content” WHY ARE YOU CONSUMING ONLINE CONTENT THAT YOU’RE COMMENTING ON?

I make more money with higher engagement, but yet I continue to consistently remove and block this nonsense because you don’t deserve the space to exist where I will continue to take up space.

I had to vent this. I catch myself saying “I hate it here” too often, and yet there’s just enough of you that make it worth it. I’ll continue to try to foster a safe and kind (fun?) environment here, but I will not tolerate misogynistic or violent behavior. Period.
