We can now add one more thing that we know about Munchel. He has been detained in Davidson County. His charge is listed as “Federal Sleepover Hold.”

A federal sleepover doesn’t sound fun at all. Hope his moment of glory was worth it.

On January 6th, we were all taken back by the images we saw at the nation’s Capitol. We all watched as Trump’s cult following eased their way past Capitol Police with less resistance th…

After The Sparrow Project released a video showing Zip Tie Guy’s face, pictures of counter protestors in TN were sorted through to see if we could find anyone that matches. Turns out, Zip Tie Guy spent his summer harassing Black and Brown people at protests in Nashville... Wearing the same gear he wore in DC. You’ll notice in the fourth picture, he’s even wearing the same patches.

Meet Eric Munchel of Nashville, TN! Zip Tie Guy has been identied.

Saturday, December 12th, Proud Boys plan to rally in DC. Every time proud boys gather, there is violence. Multiple activist groups have put calls out for people to come help defend DC. If you are not able to make it, there are other things you can do from home.

DC Youth Liberation Front is asking everyone to make calls to the hotels that will be hosting the Proud Boys next weekend. They have provided numbers and a script.

We feel it is important that Knoxvillians be informed of who runs Mountain Oddities and Pop Culture: Autographs and Collectibles. Oddities and fandoms are attractive to many in the LGBTQ+ community as well as people of color. Even our team kept talking about how much we hate that they have to hold these dangerous views because they sell stuff that we'd otherwise be interested in. We wouldn't want to buy from anyone who thinks of us as lesser than them.

We've presented you with what we know about Jim Tull. His past with A***n Brotherhood, his claim to be reformed, and his current views and his associates. The question we started with was whether Tull has truly abandoned his ties with white nationalism as he presents to the public through his shop. We at Opossum Press do not feel there is enough to show he has walked away and he is still promoting white nationalist views. In Knoxville, y'all means all and we should not support businesses that promote these views.

Tonight in Knoxville, as protestors were out demonstrating, a man in a military uniform driving a government issued vehicle with tags saying, “For official use only” thought it would be funny to bump into one of the protestors. No one was hurt but regardless, this was a threatening move and wholly inappropriate for a government employee to do to a citizen exercising their first Amendment right.
