Today we honor the life, music, and legacy of Bob Weir — guitarist, songwriter, vocalist, and founding member of the legendary Grateful Dead.
For more than six decades, Bob’s rhythm, spirit, and creativity helped shape American music and defined what it meant to be part of a community built around freedom, connection, and sonic exploration.

From classics like “Truckin’,” “Sugar Magnolia,” and “Playing in the Band” to countless performances that brought people together, his influence was profound and far-reaching.
He faced cancer with courage and grace and passed peacefully surrounded by loved ones — leaving behind a musical family and a global community of Deadheads who loved him deeply. 

Bob Weir wasn’t just a musician — he was a force of culture and heart.
