Young Christian women who have converted from Islam are sometimes persecuted through forced marriages to older Muslim men. VOM President Cole Richards writes: “We see a tactic of persecution repeated among Muslims [in Muslim enclaves around the world]: Girls who convert to Christianity, or are even found to be seeking more information about Christ, are forced by their domineering parents and their community to marry a much older Muslim man in order to ‘correct’ the young woman.”
