David Benton is not new to this. His roots run deepācoming out of Knoxville, Tennesse where life wasnāt always easy, and the streets had a way of shaping decisions early.
Before the growth, before the business, before the global platformsāDavid was part of the group TN1 (Trust No One), building his sound and chasing opportunities. That hunger led him to doors like Jive Records in his early twentiesāproof that the talent was always there.
But his journey didnāt come without detours.
Like many who come from environments surrounded by gang culture and violence, David found himself caught in a life that eventually led to him serving 13 years in federal prison. And while that chapter could have defined his endingā¦
It didnāt.
It became his turning point.
Coming home, David didnāt just pick up where he left offāhe evolved. He built BeyonDaFence Entertainment, which later grew into BeyonDaFence Enterprise, expanding beyond music into multiple business ventures and leadership roles.
But what makes his story powerful isnāt just the comebackā¦
Itās the shift in purpose.
Today, David Benton isnāt just creating musicāheās creating impact. The same environments he once navigated, he now works to help others avoid. Heās become a voice for the youth, encouraging them to think bigger, move smarter, and stay out of the streets that once tried to claim him.
