Day 2 in the mountains. Started the day with a lovely drive over to Cherokee for a pickup interview. The first image may look like yesterday’s, but it’s not. Same place, same time of day, same rays of light breaking through. And Newfound Gap did not disappoint, with the Smoky Mountains living up to their name. ,

Designing sound and Foley effects is all about texture. Today, I needed one, very particular sound and realized a milk shake was the best solution. Sure, there’s a popular drive-in fast food chain near the house, but why go there when is an option?

In my ongoing series, if work takes me to a place where there’s a critter, I’m going to get a picture with the critter. This is Spur. He’s 8 weeks old and *very* friendly.
