THE SHOW MUST GO ON!!!! Oasis Dancers will still be at the Rossini festival this afternoon despite light rain - We of course will take care of our dancers & our costumes in the event of a heavy down pour. SO -- we hope to see you there - bring an umbrella...our Caravan dancers will be DANCING with their UMBRELLA's! Come join us!

Aaannnnd... in all the hustle bustle of show and workshop preparation... let it not be missed that the Oasis Dancers are so PROUD of our fellow belly dancer, LauraBeth, who made her debut as a solo dancer at the Cairo Cafe in downtown Knoxville this weekend! We love you LauraBeth! (thank you to Sally Boyd for the picture!)

Thank you to all the wonderful performers last night, the INCREDIBLY supportive audience who came out to watch the show, and to Aziza Nawal for her entertaining performance and wonderful workshop instruction this morning. It was a lovely night of dance - such great talent in East TN that gets better every year! A Night at the Oasis was a night to remember - thank you to all the volunteers who helped to make it happen.

And a BIG thank you for the support given to Young Williams Animal Shelter. We were able to donate a generous amount to them from the intermission proceeds, and they took home a good amount of donated food for the animals. Thank you all for making that happen!

So, until next time, thank you for spending a NIGHT AT THE OASIS!

Oasis dancers will be performing at the end of the Knoxville Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis walk this Saturday. Come out and support a great cause. Walk starts at 5pm, our performance will be around 5:30. Hope to see you there!

Fabulous night, fabulous show! Thank you so much to all of the performers who came out to join us! We also would like to send out our deepest appreciation to Fulton High School, their drama & photography department & students, Joel Seaton for mastering sound & running sound, Don Lindsey the emcee, Patti Duncan our stage manager,, John Valentine & students for the photography & videography, Kippy Green for the stage decorations, and all the dancers & volunteers who helped serve food, provide tables & coolers, take tickets, and just be available to help make the night go as smoothly as possible.

While it would be great to say "See you next year", future productions of "A Night at the Oasis" are uncertain at this time. We hope that all of you will come out to see the Oasis Dancers during our other community performances throughout the year. Keep checking our page for more information and event listings.

Come join the Oasis dancers this afternoon at the new Public Market in Turkey Creek! We will be dancing in the food court area at 11am and 1pm. Hope to see some of our fans there!!!!
