BE AWARE: Beginning this Friday at 7 p.m. and ending by 6 a.m. on Monday, September 29, I-275 will be closed in both directions as crews continue working to replace the bridge over Elm Street and Bernard Avenue.

Motorists should utilize I-40 and I-640 while the closure is in place.

Working together, the City of Knoxville and Emerald Youth Foundation have revised the contract for a 13-acre parcel of Chilhowee Park, known as the Midway, to better align with community feedback.

Starting Fall 2026, domestic undergraduate students whose families earn $200,000 or less will qualify for free tuition. 💸🎓
