**Getting to Know, The Art of House: DJ BIG KEV...
Kevin Sanford, aka DJ Big Kev of Knoxville, is a native Chicagoan that has always been a lover, avid listener, and collector of music. From the early days of making mixtapes in high school and co-hosting a radio show in college, Kevin caught the DJ bug in earnest about 10 years ago. With encouragement from longtime friends in the industry to "play out" in front of people, what started as a hobby for personal enjoyment has now been shared at non-profit fundraisers, birthday parties, and wedding receptions. While his deep collection contains a host of genres, his first love for playing is House Music, as it hearkens back to his days as a teenager and young adult going out dancing at clubs in Chicago. You can find him expressing that love of House Music monthly at the Sunday BrewHouse Sessions at Ebony & Ivory Brewing. A long-time supporter, he is excited to be a part of The Art of House Family.
