UPDATE!! 10/23/24!!
Scooby has been caught! See comments for the update!
He spent a few days in our care to be assessed. Officer Sam and her family have fallen in love with him! They are currently fostering Scooby so that he does not have to sit here in a cage to heal. And will be helping him to gain back his much needed 40 pounds lost after his venture!
We appreciate all the reported sightings and donations to help with Scooby’s care!
A message from Animal Control Officer Sorak::
I’ve been tracking a Great Dane. He is black with a little white on the chest & mouth area and was last seen limping in the area of 700 and 300N Leiters Ford area. He is friendly but skittish.
Animal control and 2 rescue groups have been trying to get close enough to catch him and have set out numerous traps without success. This has been going on for 11 days as of today. 🥺. I have the means to catch him properly now it’s just a matter of spotting him myself. He was last seen Sunday but I haven’t laid eyes on him in 6 days now.
If anyone spots him, please call the Fulton county sheriffs office (574-223-2819) and report its current location and direction heading.
Thank you!
