May Allah Almighty grant eternal peace to the soul of the late Ustad Al-Wa’iz Wazir Fida Ali Isar Hanzai and His endless blessings. Amen.
Ustad Al-Wa’iz Wazir Fida Ali Isar Hanzai was a sincere, loyal and exemplary disciple who dedicated his life to the service of the Ismaili Imamate and its institutions. His personality reflected the high values of sincerity, honesty, moral steadfastness, friendship for knowledge and selfless service which are the foundation of a purposeful and responsible religious and communal life.
He played a valuable role in the intellectual, religious and moral guidance of the community through his profound sermons, scholarly discussions, writings and various leadership responsibilities. The main motivation for his services was to work for the welfare and development of the individual and the community in the light of the vision and instructions of the Imamate.
A very important aspect of the late’s life and services was his valuable efforts for the promotion of peace, mutual harmony and inter-religious and inter-faith dialogue in Gilgit-Baltistan, especially Gilgit. In a social environment where the need for trust and dialogue between different religious and sectarian identities was always important, he played his role in creating closeness between people and different religious communities through knowledge, wisdom, tolerance and mutual respect.
He considered peace not merely the absence of conflict but a collective value based on mutual respect, human dignity, tolerance, dialogue and shared responsibility. Despite differences, the concept of mutual respect, unity in diversity, and peaceful coexistence between different beliefs and practices was prominent in his efforts. In this regard, his services are an important asset for peace-building and inter-faith harmony in the social and intellectual environment of Gilgit.
Deep devotion and love for Maulana Hazir Imam, respect for the institutions of Imamate, and commitment to institutional discipline were prominent in his life. He was a true believer and practical example of the fact that sustainability of community service, respect for institutions, adherence to established responsibilities and mutual cooperation within institutional boundaries are possible only through the deceased’s academic and religious services, his efforts for peace and harmony, his moral character and passion for community service will remain an exemplary example and a valuable legacy for future generations. His memory will continue to teach us that true service consists of sincerity, humility, knowledge, moral responsibility, tolerance and dedication of one’s abilities for the collective good.
May Allah Almighty grant the soul of the late Ustad Al-Waiz Wazir Fida Ali Isar Hanzai a place in His mercy and grant his family, loved ones, students and the entire community patience, courage and solace to bear this great loss. Amen.
