When we committed to getting 209 Dortch Lane live as a midterm rental, the timeline looked optimistic. What followed was a full-team sprint: sourcing durable furniture that reads like home (but survives heavy use), coordinating last-minute deliveries, and turning a quiet house into a professionally managed rental — all while keeping the place warm and welcoming.

Highlights from the scramble:
• Prioritized sleep (mattresses + bedding), kitchen basics, and lighting for instant comfort.
• Built a quick-turn welcome kit and phone-friendly house guide.
• Focused on products that are easy to clean, repair, and replace.
