TUGG opening for Fishbone was an experience!!

They say, “Don’t meet your heroes,” but I met Angelo Moore of Fishbone and I can’t find the words to describe it. It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Awakening. Inspiring. Educational. Poignant. Energetic. Beautiful.

Fishbone burned the stage down with an unstoppable, two-hour set that touched every corner of their career and every reason we love this band. One moment it was pure ska joy, the next a metal-funk assault with soul-drenched harmonies. It was a masterclass, a celebration, and a sermon.
And then came the part I didn’t expect. Angelo, Chris, and the entire Fishbone crew stood out there for another 90 minutes, talking with every single person who waited. No rushed photo ops. Real conversations. Sharpies out, drawing on shirts, masks, records, posters. Hugs. Incredible.

They waited until the last person had left. And then they thanked us…THANKED us 😱 for playing.

A night I’ll never forget. Viva La Fishbone.

Broken Wrist Records - Bio

Broken Wrist Records was formed by Stacy Hanson, Andy Hughes, and Brian Bethke in the winter of 2020 to promote the singer-songwriter scene that was growing in Central and Northern Wisconsin. The trio began promoting their own series of songwriter showcases in which they would perform together “in-the-round”. With more collaboration and less competition the group continues to build a platform to showcase the songs and music of the burgeoning Wisconsin singer-songwriters.
