Exciting news for Rush County! Welcome Keithley Funeral Homes

📣EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT - New LaCrosse Location!
For decades, it has been our honor to serve the families of Rush County. While we have traditionally cared for you through our Hays facilities—providing funeral services, cremations, and custom monuments—we’ve always felt like a part of your community.

Today we are delighted to share that Keithley Funeral Homes is opening a new chapel in LaCrosse in late Spring 2026!

We believe that serving families with care and compassion is best done right in their own hometown. By opening this new location, we can now provide the same high standard of dignified service you’ve come to expect from the Keithley name, right here in the heart of Rush County.

The newspapers are here and going out to the stores and post office right now!

The Rush County News office will be closing at 3 p.m. today (Tuesday) and will not open until 1 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, February 19. Hopefully the newspapers will arrive from Hutchinson by then. We will let you know when they arrive.

We are closing a little early today and will be closed tomorrow, July 4 and Friday, July 5 for the holiday! Hope everyone has a Happy and Safe 4th of July!

Due to the Post Office being closed for Juneteenth on Wednesday, June 19, the newspapers will not be mailed out until Thursday, June 20.
