The victim in this incident did succumb to his injuries while at the hospital. This is a homicide investigation and the VPD is following up on any and all leads to apprehend the offender.

*POLICE ADVISORY*

On August 30th, 2025, at approximately 1:10 am, Victoria Police Department officers responded to a business in the 2100 block of Lone Tree Rd. in response to a shots fired call.

The initial investigation revealed that one subject had been shot. That subject was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.

This is an active investigation and additional information will be released when able.

Anyone with information regarding this incident can call Victoria Crime Stoppers at 361-572-4200 where the caller can remain anonymous.

KVLG-KBUK welcomes the Potts Law Firm to La Grange. The grand opening was held Saturday. They also have a booth in the Commercial Exhibit Hall at the Fair.

⭐️REMINDERS FOR TONIGHT⭐️

🎸Hudson Westbrook takes the stage at 10:00pm, but arrive early and enjoy music by Reagan Hicks, food and the many other attractions that we have!

🎟️Purchase your tickets ahead of time online at https://www.fayettecountyfair.org/p/tickets-deals! You can purchase at the gate but expect to wait in line for transactions to be processed.

🚌Parking is $5 onsite or you can ride the shuttle. Shuttle begins at 7:00pm and drives you across town free of charge and drops you off/picks you up at the front gate. Shuttle staging is at the La Grange High School with overflow (in needed) at the KC Hall in La Grange.

⌚️Allow extra time getting to and from the grounds. New stop lights have been installed near the grounds, as well as an anticipated large crowd, will cause some delays!
