The beautiful and talented Solange Knowles curated a week of events celebrating the culture and the arts.
I was able to attend the first event, “On Dissonance,” and experience a true masterpiece.

I’ve always loved and admired her artistry. She’s such a visionary. The love she has for her roots and the way she honors the ancestors is a beautiful thing. I enjoyed every piece, and the Texas Southern University Ocean of Soul was a pleasant surprise. She was everything I thought she’d be. So beautiful and graceful.
