What would make you want to pick up a newspaper today?

When I was little, I remember the feeling of flipping through the Sunday paper, scanning the stories, diving into the comics, and racing to the crossword puzzle. There was something special about holding it in your hands, the way the pages crinkled, the ink smudged, the sense that you were connected to your town, your people, your world.

That feeling stuck with me.

Now, I want to bring that experience back. Not just the nostalgia, but a new kind of newspaper. One that still honors the roots of community storytelling but also makes room for modern voices and fresh perspectives. A paper that highlights local wins, dives into real issues, includes things like QR codes and interactive content, and maybe even features a few new-age twists.

More than anything, I want it to be a platform, a place for stories that might otherwise go unheard. A voice for people who feel like they don’t have one. I have also partnered with small businesses, authors and more to bring some creativity to the paper.

So tell me honestly, what would make YOU want to pick up a paper again?
