Way to show up and show out Grace Bible Church family and City of La Vernia community! Over a three hour period, and with only 2 hours notice, we came together with all of this plus a generous donation of an additional 12 pallets of water bottles (20,000 bottles!) that will be taken up separately on Monday. Thank you for supporting this! All transport needs are met as of now!

UPDATE 6:30pm: We will now need trucks and trailers to help transport the collections from the Church to Kerr County on Monday. We are no longer moving it from the church to Floresville staging.

UPDATE 3pm: How You Can Help Flood Victims in Kerr County

Church family and community—thank you for your prayers and support as we continue to respond to the heartbreaking situation at Camp Mystic and the surrounding area. We now have a way to tangibly serve those affected by the devastating floods.

🕔 TONIGHT (5–8 PM): Grace Bible Church will be open to receive donations. We will use the covered awning area as a drive-thru drop-off.

🛒 We are collecting the following specific items:

-Non-perishable, dry, prepackaged snack items (e.g., beef jerky, peanut butter crackers, trail mix)
-Bottled water
-Diapers
-Hygiene products
-Hand sanitizer & sanitizer wipes
-Mosquito spray
-Gloves

🚫 Please note: We are not accepting any clothing donations at this time.

🙏 Grace family—if you're attending worship tomorrow, you can also bring your donations with you in the morning. We’ll collect items through 1:00 PM. Everything will be sent directly to Kerr County on Monday.

Church family, thank you for your compassion and eagerness to help in response to the heartbreaking flood situation around Kerrville and Hunt, Tx.

Many of you have asked how we can help and we love your hearts for service. At this time, local authorities and emergency crews are asking people to stay away from the affected areas, as most locations remain inaccessible and rescue operations are still underway.

We are actively looking for churches and trusted organizations in the area to partner with once it becomes clear what needs will arise in the coming days. In the meantime, the most powerful thing we can do is pray: pray for the girls still missing, for their families, for the exhausted rescue teams, and for peace that only God can give in moments like this.

We will keep you updated as soon as there’s a tangible way we can help, if any. Until then, let’s be the Church through our prayers. 🙏

Our hearts are heavy as we lift up the families, campers, and staff of Camp Mystic in Hunt, Texas, and the many others who’ve been impacted or lost loved ones due to the flooding.

We join with so many others in praying for their safe return. We pray for strength and endurance for the rescue teams working around the clock. We pray for peace and comfort for the parents and loved ones who are holding their breath and clinging to hope. And we pray for God’s protection over every life still awaiting rescue.

May the God who sees all and knows all be near to the brokenhearted.

We’re thrilled to announce a bold next step in our mission to connect with others for the life-changing pursuit of Jesus: We have found our new Spiritual Formation Pastor!

Even while away on vacation, Pastor Erin wanted to personally share his excitement—check out this special video message as we step into this next chapter of growth and discipleship together.

This hire is a strategic move toward deeper spiritual maturity, stronger leadership development, and multiplying ministry impact across our church network.

He will guide and equip the GBC network to become spiritually mature disciples by building a strong, sustainable culture of discipleship—primarily through the development and growth of our small group and spiritual formation ministries.

The future is bright, and we believe God is positioning us for something extraordinary.

Let’s praise God for providing and answering our prayers over this last year! 🙌

You've probably heard: “Preach the Gospel at all times. Use words IF necessary.”
But Romans 10:14 reminds us that words ARE necessary.

How will they hear unless someone preaches?

Yes, live the Gospel, but don’t stop there. We are called to speak it! Preach the Gospel AND use words!
