🎉 Happy Birthday, Gabby! 🎉

Today we're celebrating Gabrielle "Gabby" Rouse, our new Mother's Day Out Coordinator!

While many of our MDO families already know and love Gabby, some of you may not have had the chance to meet her yet. We're incredibly grateful that God brought Gabby and her family to Grace, and we're excited for the way He will continue to use her in this new season of leadership.

Gabby brings a heart for people, a passion for children and families, and a deep desire to see the next generation know and follow Jesus. We can't wait to see all that God has in store for our MDO program under her leadership.

But today, we're simply celebrating her!

Today we're celebrating Chris Lowe and his 2-year Workaversary at Grace!

It's hard to believe it's already been two years.

Chris serves as our Executive Pastor, but anyone who knows him knows that title only tells part of the story. He wears a lot of hats, helps carry a lot of responsibility, and somehow always seems to have enough energy for whatever is next.

Chris leads with a deep conviction for God's Word, a passion for the mission of the church, and an enthusiasm that's hard not to catch. He challenges us to think bigger, trust God more, and stay focused on what matters most.

But one of the things we appreciate most about Chris is the way he serves. He's never afraid to jump in, lend a hand, tackle a project, or help someone in need. Whether it's a big decision, a practical problem, or just showing up for people, Chris consistently leads by example.

We're also incredibly grateful for Aleesha and the kids. The Lowe family has been such a blessing to Grace and to our community, and we're thankful for the way God continues to use them.

Two years have gone by fast, and honestly, it feels like we're just getting started.

Chris, thanks for serving Grace so faithfully. We're grateful for you and your family.

Over the past several weeks, we've taken intentional Selah moments in our services to pause, pray, and seek the Lord together as a church family.

Forward Together is an extension of that heart.

On July 1, we're inviting our La Vernia and Schertz campuses to gather for a special network-wide evening as we reflect on God's faithfulness, share ministry updates, and look ahead to what God is doing in and through Grace.

We also want to create space for your questions. If there's something you've been wondering about, curious about, or simply want to understand better, this is your opportunity to ask. Our desire is for this evening to be transparent, informative, and encouraging as we continue moving forward together as one church family.

🛠️ Volunteer Help Needed in “The Garage!”

As we continue making more space for ministry, we’re looking for a few volunteers with framing and drywall experience to help with an upcoming project in The Garage.

We need help to:

1. Frame out an additional 23.5 feet of wall.
2. Hang drywall across approximately 35 feet.

This renovation is helping us turn our current storage building into a usable gathering space for ministry, discipleship, and connection as we prepare for upcoming campus projects.

We couldn't let the day end without celebrating Allan Houck and his first year on staff at Grace Bible Church!

In just one year, Allan has become an invaluable part of our church family. As our Business Manager-in-Training, he has brought wisdom, excellence, and a remarkable ability to solve problems to our church family, but his influence extends far beyond spreadsheets and budgets.

Allan is smart, kind, resourceful, servant-hearted, and always willing to jump in wherever help is needed. He loves people, loves the church, and consistently reflects the heart of Christ in the way he leads and serves. Whether he's supporting ministry teams behind the scenes, serving on the Safety Team, helping people navigate challenges, or investing in relationships, Allan brings a steady presence and a heart for serving others.

As a veteran, husband, father, and faithful member of the Grace family, Allan and his family have become an important part of both our La Vernia and Schertz campuses. From the business side of the church to the various ministry teams he serves with, his impact can be felt across our entire network.

In just one year, Allan's faithfulness, humility, sense of humor, and willingness to serve have already made a lasting difference in the life of our church. We are grateful for the way he serves, supports, and strengthens the ministry of Grace.

The difference between religion and faith is that religion keeps trying to earn what's already been paid for.

The gospel invites us to stop striving and start receiving. When we do, we find forgiveness, faith, love, and the peace we've been searching for all along.
