and... WE WON! Parthenogenesis won Best Mini Film in this year's San Francisco Science Fiction Short Film and TV Awards!

Thanks to the actors, production crew, and particularly our amazing editor Tremaine who took a lot of footage and a couple plastic models and over a year created a believable future world.

And yes, awards are arbitrary and their meaning is debatable, but it's easy to get into the mindset of believing that success as an artist is based on who you know. Sometimes it's based upon people you've never met looking at your stuff and saying "that's pretty great! let's give them an award!"
