At noon today, the Oyster Creek Generating Station shut down the reactor for the last time. With lots of other nuclear plants slated for closure, the focus of our documentary now turns to decommission and what our community and other nuclear power communities can expect. We’re looking forward to continuing this project and showing Oyster Creek as a snapshot of nationwide “Nuclear Shutdown.”

Yesterday we had yet another successful shoot at the Lacey Township Town Hall chatting with the township committeemen and mayor. Today we are off to gather interviews at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in King of Prussia! Anything you think we should ask while we're there?

Yesterday was our first day of shooting for our documentary, Nuclear Shutdown! We went to Trenton to speak with Jeff Tittel, the Director of the NJ Sierra Club.

We are excited to finally reveal the poster design for our upcoming documentary, Nuclear Shutdown, to everyone! The poster features art by the incredibly talented Danielle Zabielski. We are coming very close to shooting this project, so stay tuned for more exciting updates from us as we get this film underway!

A few weeks ago, the WhatKey Productions team got together to conduct a full camera, lighting, and sound test to ensure that our equipment and current shooting plans for interviews would work together. Fortunately the test was a big success and now we're ready to finally begin interviewing. Check out some photos we snapped during the test below! The timing couldn't be any more perfect either, considering the nuclear power plant we intend to feature in Nuclear Shutdown, the Oyster Creek Generating Station, moved its scheduled decommission up to October 2018! Now's the time for us to hit the ground running and get this movie moving! Keep an eye here on our page for updates on our progress!

Since the close of our indiegogo campaign a few months ago, we have begin gathering equipment to shoot Nuclear Shutdown with. The number one thing we have been missing was a proper camera, but not anymore! We plan on shooting this project with Andy's new Sony A7S II as our A camera, check out the rig in these photos!
