Dry Acid-Based Pedicure Technology💚
KART is a professional brand of medical-grade cosmetics, formulated with fruit acids, enzymes, and plant extracts. This method is ideal for treating diabetic feet, hyperkeratosis, cracked heels, calluses, and very dry skin.
🔖Step 1: Preparation
• Assess the condition of the feet, nails, and skin.
• Sanitize the technician’s hands and the client’s feet with an antiseptic.
• If needed, apply a disinfecting or antiseptic compress — no soaking in water, as this is a dry pedicure.
🔖Step 2: Application of KART Keratolytic Product
• Apply a keratolytic gel or lotion (e.g., KART Keratolyse Lotion) only to the affected, callused areas — such as heels, forefoot pads, or zones with hardened skin.
• Avoid applying the product to healthy skin.
• Leave on for 5–15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the skin and sensitivity.
• The treated areas are then covered with occlusion (e.g., wrap or cotton pads and plastic) to activate the product.
🔖Step 3: Removal of Dead Skin
• After exposure time, remove the wrap and gently clean off the softened skin using a spatula or sterile tool.
• No forceful scraping — the product works selectively on dead tissue, making mechanical removal gentle and safe.
🔖Step 4: Machine Finishing
• Use a professional podiatry drill with appropriate bits to polish the skin, smooth transitions, and finish the treatment.
• Carefully clean nail folds and refine nail shape as needed.
🔖 Step 5: Care and Protection
• Apply a KART post-care cream or foam — selected based on skin type (moisturizing, regenerating, or antifungal if needed).
