Turkey Season is a go in Georgia now. When you have hunting land leased, if can be a plus to see an aerial view of the area, get a count on the wildlife and manage your game.

So, things happen when you’re working with remotes and signals, which can be lost. I was out searching for a lost dog, when I lost complete signal to my drone. Return home didn’t work. Driving around 45 minutes trying to get signal or find the drone. My brain kicked in and looked up last gps location on the drone. Drove there twice. Second time I put the coordinates in Google, hit directions and proceeded with land owners dog to search for the drone. He said his dog would find it. I’m like yeah, ok. Just as I was 15 yds of it, not seeing it the dog is pointing its nose at the ground. Tip of his nose on the drone. Love that dog! I gave him and the owner $100 and said treat the dog named Shaggy and you and your wife to something nice. Thank you!

The Lemus buck. It was his target buck he’d been hunting all season on a 20 acre tract. When a tree limb deflected his arrow causing a bad shot, he kept his cool and watched the buck for 30 minutes, until it disappeared behind a patch of woods. It was with 2 other nice bucks at the time. Mr. Lemus recovered the arrow, seeing it had no blood, but a gut shot and meat he said on the arrow. He was afraid to put tracking dog on the trail, fearing that the buck might still be alive. That’s when I was called in with the drone.
