Just getting on here to remind y’all of a few dates. You have to be registered to vote by July 7th to vote in the general election. So please if you are not registered get that done . Your vote matters. Also early voting starts July 17th - Aug 1st. I encourage everyone to early vote and get it done. You early vote at the election commission office. Also if you want to vote by absentee ballot, call the election commission office and let them know. They will help you and direct you on getting that done also. 615-666-2199. I have been out and about trying to get to as many of you as I can. Please if I don’t get to you don’t think that I don’t think your vote matters , because it does and I humbly ask for your vote. Lafayette has gotten so big and with me working , I only have a few hours in the evening and on Sat , after work to get out and about . Sunday’s is the Lord’s day. I will be at the Hillbilly Days, June 18th - June 20th . I will have an area set up . Feel free to come by and see me and ask any questions you may have . I am excited to see everybody come out and enjoy the festivities. It is for a good cause and is good for our community to come together and show our support for the Lions Club . They do great things for our community. Again , remember experience matters and please vote Stacy Kemp as Macon County Clerk. I want to continue to serve my community . I am so grateful for the support I have gotten so far on my endeavors of trying to get to as many people as I can, to ask them to please vote for me in Aug. I am looking forward to seeing people tomorrow at the Folk Medicine Festival in Red Boiling Springs. It will be a fun time . Come and enjoy the day. Looking forward to seeing you there .

I hope everyone has had a great Memorial Day weekend. Remembering those who have fought for our country. I have enjoyed being out and about, meeting people and asking for your vote in the August general election. I have appreciated your kindness and support. I will try to reach as many people as I can in the days ahead and at different upcoming events. I wanted to let people know that office hours will remain the same. I will be looking into different things that can better help our community, as budget allows, and also having the staff to do extra things, which also deals with the budget. I don’t want to make promises I can’t keep. I want the office to help the community as much as we can, as I feel this office has always done that with kindness and respect. Remember, hands-on experience matters, and I have 19 years of experience in the office. I love my job. I love serving my community as a deputy clerk, and I would like the opportunity to serve as County Clerk. Please vote. Use that right that people have died for. If you have questions, I’d be glad to answer them. Early voting starts July 17th through Aug 1st. Election Day is August 6th. Again, I humbly ask you to vote Stacy Kemp, County Clerk. When the time comes, early vote or vote on Election Day, August 6.

Today starts early voting for the Primary Election. If your candidate’s name, for whatever office is not on this ticket, you can skip that part and go on to the next. The other candidate’s names will be on the General Election in Aug. I just wanted to let people be aware of this. I encourage everybody to vote the best candidate for that position. This is not the final vote in some positions. We have the General Election in Aug. That will be the final election and whoever wins that election is who gets the office or position. I want to thank everyone for your support this far . I really appreciate it. I have 19 yrs of hands on experience in this office . I want to work for you and help anyway I can to serve you as the next Macon County Clerk. I love my job and I love my county. Go vote!! Experience matters!!!

I wanted to take a moment to share some upcoming dates and invite everyone to a meet-and-greet on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at The Barn from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. I look forward to seeing you there, answering any questions, and hearing any concerns you may have about the County Clerks Office.

The primary election will be here before we know it. Even though I will not be on the primary ballot, I strongly encourage everyone to participate and vote. Early voting will take place from April 15th through April 30th. The last day to register for the Republican Primary is April 6th, and Election Day is May 5, 2026.

I will be on the General Election ballot, which will be held on August 6, 2026. The last day to register for the General Election is July 7th and early voting will run from July 17th through August 1st.

I am proud to bring 19 years of experience to the role, having been trained by James Ralph Howser and Connie Blackwell. I care deeply about this community and the work of this office. It would be an honor to serve you and ensure your needs are met in accordance with the laws and guidelines of the state of Tennessee.
