Y'all are invited to The Slurpee Show TOMORROW (on 7 Eleven) for a night of hot cheeto-style music and ice cold air conditioning. Doors open at 6:30pm and show kicks off at 7pm with Red Tape Friends, then Corsicana at 8pm and Paw Newman at 9pm. This is Paw Newman's album release party so put your paws up and shout your love out to the band!

Paw Newman (a.k.a. Dillon Thomas Mount) is guilty of procuring a piano without a permit, and on his first E.P. entitled Paw Newman Plays Dead he sings songs to the envy of all who forgot to bring a pen to the worst day of their life.

Corsicana is Denver indie rock/dream pop with bleep bloops.

Red Tape Friends’ inaugural show is happening at The End Lafayette and they shall rock ur socks off in a songwriting way. They shall rock your heart to feel a little deeper and love humanity even more.

THE END LAFAYETTE (inside DOG HOUSE MUSIC STUDIOIS) is a cozy 75-person live music venue nestled inside the recording studios of Dog House Music. Our shows are intimate affairs where each guest is invited into the recording studio to experience small batch local live music. Many of the bands and artists on stage have written, rehearsed, and recorded their music right from the studio you'll be standing in! We support and promote Colorado bands and artists who are creating and re-inventing the Colorado music scene, and we invite you into the studio to have a listen!

Songwriters and aspirational songwriters! Join us TONIGHT 6:30PM to 8:30PM for Songwriters Meetup at The End Lafayette (inside Dog House Music Studios) here in Lafayette!

The Songwriters Meetup is a free monthly hang for local songwriters, musicians, and those aspiring to write original music to share their works-in-progress. Sing, play an instrument, or just bring your support for the group. This is a great space to ask for input, encouragement, fresh ideas, or supportive listening. Meet new friends and collaborators, and let's build a collaborative thriving musical community here in Lafayette!

All skill levels, music genres, and ages are warmly welcomed! The Songwriters Meetup is facilitated by local musician and singer-songwriter Carly Fox.

The Songwriters Meetup is hosted by Rock for the People, a Colorado nonprofit that creates diversity and equity in our local music industry from performers and artists to audio engineers and venues. Our mission is to build an inclusive and equitable music community by removing barriers for musicians, performers, audio engineers, and local music fans from historically underrepresented groups. Because there’s nothing more fun than creating and enjoying music and your life will be better for it!
