Dance, resist, rebel, repeat!

Y'all are invited to Love & Resistance Dance Party on Friday Sep 26th! Doors open at 6:30pm and show kicks off at 7pm with Lisa Selle, then Ironically Pink takes the stage at 8pm and Resisting B***h Face at 9pm! We'll also be featuring and raising funds for local nonprofit SPAN who support folks who've experiences domestic violence.

Resisting B***h Face is a Northern Colorado Riot Grrrl band. We like it a bit hard rock, a bit punk, maybe a splash of metal. We like to make it loud and make it crunchy. 🤘🏼

Ironically Pink is straight out of the magic of Rock For The People's Band Speed Dating meetup, Ironically Pink channels the raw energy of your favorite 90s grunge and punk bands, bringing fresh focus to the angsty and introspective lyrics. The band, comprised of Erika (vocals), Willow (lead guitar), Sarah (bassist and backing vocals), and Connie (drums), formed with a shared vision: to create music shedding a modern take on songs from our favorite artists as well as originals with powerful drive and musicality.

Lisa Selle is a Denver-based singer/songwriter who comes from a Colorado prairie small town. Lisa plays regularly around south Denver, where fans enjoy unexpected mash-ups, unlikely acoustic covers (for a middle-aged white lady), as well as originals. Her musical style is best described as acoustic organic Americana.

Rock For The People is YOUR local music nonprofit. They're all about Boulder County's inclusive and equitable local music community. RFTP uses grant $ and donation $ to offer free and low-cost rehearsal, recording, and marketing services, FREE events and meetups for local performers, and PAID gigs for musicians and audio engineers.

The End Lafayette is a cozy 75-person live music venue nestled inside the recording studios of Dog House Music. Our shows are intimate affairs where each guest is invited into the recording studio to experience small batch local live music. Many of the bands and artists on stage have written, rehearsed, and recorded their music right from the studio you'll be standing in! We support and promote Colorado bands and artists who are creating and re-inventing the Colorado music scene, and we invite you into the studio to have a listen!

It's Open Mic Night! Every 3rd Tuesday of the month, come to The End Lafayette (inside Dog House Music) to listen to local bands and musicians perform and share their music. Come as a guest or sign up to perform. Want to keep Open Mic FREE?! Buy drinks at the bar and donate to our nonprofit host, Rock for the People!

Doors open at 6:30pm and the show goes until 9:30pm. We'll have bar service and snacks to help y'all enjoy your Tuesday evening, and don't forget to bring along friends and family.

Open Mic Tuesdays are brought to y'all for FREE by Rock For The People, YOUR local music nonprofit. They're all about Colorado's homegrown music and here to support YOU (the folks who create it.) You want a music scene that represents you, so their mission is making opportunities for y'all (musicians, audio engineers, music fans) from historically underrepresented groups so you're heard, seen, and cheered for.

It's summer in Lafayette, Colorado and that means ART NIGHT OUT is ON in old town Lafayette! Come out to main street (S. Public Rd) Friday Sep 12th 5pm - 9pm for live music, local food trucks, local artists selling their art, and all your townie friends all in one place!

We'll be there whooping and hollering for for the band and hanging at the Lafayette Music Fest booth (did you know tickets are on sale?!) and we'd love to see you! Kenny has new jokes to tell, and Liz would love to hear how your summer is going.

We love our town, and you're invited to hang with the weird and wonderful people of Lafayette.
