I learned this lesson the hard way.

For years, I've been the cobbler's child with no shoes.

A professional photographer with mediocre headshots I'd taken myself or asking my mom or makeup artist to snap a few in between.

Talk about irony.

Here I was helping other women show up confidently in their photos…

While I was stuck in an endless cycle of:
• "Just one more selfie..."
• "Maybe if I adjust the tripod..."
• "Hey mom, can you take this real quick?"
• "This will do for now..."

The worst part?
I am literally a pro photographer, helping women plan and create marketing images and I didn't take the time to get it right myself.
