Watching the new season of the has been especially Fun since my childhood friend Braunwyn is the newest castmate. Prior to Landing the show, she called me in a panic and said that they had no time to waste because they decided to move back home so they're big kids could attend a special arts school in Orange County. We toured the property together when she flew out on a red-eye, and quickly realized that not only were not enough room for all of the kids as it was, (at the time, we're only 5) but one of the rooms didn't even have a door! I promised her we could work miracles! She sent me two pods full of miscellaneous furnishings and clothing, a credit card and carte blanche to just get it done. She went on vacation, and 45 days later we had completely transformed the house and furnished it down to the silverware. It's been so fun to see her main home, along with the , and Sean's office on television this year. Thanks so much to for trusting me to create a family home you love!.. Project: Blue Lagoon

Sometimes the bulk of the work we do in design is completely hidden behind the scenes. Literally. I think we redesigned the length and depth of this cabinet 25 times before it was fabricated, and then went back in after the fact and made adjustments one final time just for good measure. I was obsessed with making sure that all of the walls in this space were flat. This proved much more difficult than expected because we had a massive amount of Plumbing to drop from a top 3rd floor to a bottom and no place to put our plumbing but directly through the middle of this living room. After fighting, and going back to the mat with our builders on multiple occasions, we ended up floating the entire wall out the distance of this long and narrow space so that all of my plumbing and electrical could be hidden behind the walls.

Find yourselves a good designer that will understand how the Aesthetics of your space will look when they're finished and work their way back words so that you are left with a room that looks and feels compromised.... trust me, it's worth every penny and let me tell you of all of the simple white things in this space the final look of this cabinet is one that I am probably the most proud of.
