When Michael and I got home from running errands, we had a conversation with our "bot," Alexa. It went like this...

Deborah: Alexa, did you miss us?
Alexa: Glad to have you back! 🥳
Michael: Alexa, did you miss me?
Alexa: I don't know. 🤔

Is it possible Alexa actually has an opinion? LOL

Maybe she needs to spend some quality time with Michael 👌 😀 💕💕💗

So nice to have a helpful office companion...

When you drop that camera cover, like a Brio cover flips off and into the the air and then on the floor, under the desk... (Oh, if I had caught that ON camera!)....

But Trudy to the rescue! She went right to it, picked it up in her lovely teeth, and brought it to me. (Though her intentions were probably, "Look what I found, Mommy. May I play with it?!)

I like my version... that she is helpful in the office and the ideal office mate :D Cute, too, isn't she?

This is our final day of the "Package Your Brilliance" series and today, Chanel Morales is our featured speaker.

It was refreshing to hear how Chanel travels with her daughter, around the world, while providing for their family and "world schooling" her daughter. And, not only that, but part of what Chanel does as an entrepreneur is to teach others how to do the same!

This is such a wonderful thing, exposing children to various cultures and so much experiential knowledge that would not necessarily be available in a schoolhouse (no offense). Also, immersion has been shown to be an effective way to learn, so these children have that immersion but with the protective oversight of parent(s).

And, Chanel is here to teach you how to do it! I know, from personal experience, and living in various states (intentionally), and especially, immersing ourselves directly in Hawai'ian culture when we lived there, that the benefits are immense.

Mallika helps us to understand what branding is and what branding is not. She has excellent, descriptive ways of defining branding. And, she doesn't leave you in the dark as to what those other components are, like your font selection, or your website, or even your instagram feed (as you can tell, even in this teaser video).

Kerry is very experienced and very professional and this came out in her interview, as well. I like how she stated that she wouldn't trade her worst day as an entrepreneur for her best day in the Corporate world. That says something. It also says something for the passion that she puts into what she does.

She helps us to realize that speaking is not just a marketing tool but another venue from which to make money as an entrepreneur. And, as she says, herself, everyone has a message. So, let's let Kerry teach us how we can step into that realm, shall we?

Bev came to us with an authentic, transparent story of her background as a jewelry designer and vendor. From those beginnings in business, she has evolved into the Tech Fairy helping others with their needs in the area of email marketing.

It is a fascinating story and her enthusiasm is contagious. It is also easy to understand how Bev became such an expert in her field. Oh, she still sells jewelry, but she is passionate about helping others build their lists and market through the use of those lists - email marketing.

She understands how the email list belongs to you, whereas, in social media marketing, the platforms belong to the vendors. But, there is joy in what email marketing can bring to each of us and that is evident in what Ms. Feldman shares with us. See for yourself!

Today's featured speaker in the Package Your Brilliance series is Satwinder Isser (also known as Simone).

What I really liked about what Simone shared was that it was enveloped or bathed in peace and love. That truly resonated with me as I live each day desiring that we had more of that in this world where we coexist.

Instead of encouraging excuses, she encouraged self-examination and not worrying about what the other guy (or gal) said or says but instead, rejecting it, but rejecting it with love. That isn't a message that you hear often enough but her entire message and the advice that Simone offered, contained that underlying basis and that really encouraged me.

Our featured speaker today in the "Package Your Brilliance" series is Precy Tripoli.

Precy comes to us from the Philippines. She is sweet, dedicated, and knows her stuff! She teaches us about how an entrepreneur needs to know BEFORE hiring a virtual assistant. She also shares WHY an entrepreneur needs to hire a virtual assistant to make that mark of success that they desire and to do it in the most efficient manner possible.

And, her most poignant point is demonstrating why entrepreneurs should hire virtual assistants from the Philippines. You need to hear her message, in her video, in her own words! It is clear that she understands the business and what she is saying. And, she is the teacher of the virtual assistants that she mentions, so she is taking the time to ensure that they understand how to be effective and efficient virtual assistants and those who can support entrepreneurs in different countries, understanding the differences in cultural expectations.

I was very impressed. And, having quite a few friends from the Philippines, I felt very comfortable in this discussion and I would recommend Precy Tripoli.

Our featured speaker today, in the "Packaging Your Brilliance" series, is Susan Vernicek.

In chatting with Susan Vernicek, I felt like I was chatting with a kindred spirit like I had known her for decades. And, with my background in I/O psychology (yes, pursuing that fun doctorate and only a dissertation away from Dr. Deb...)...well, as I was saying, everything clicked. Everything that Susan was sharing, about attitude, perspective, and most importantly, mindset, was right on target!

She doesn't leave you hanging. Similar to some of our other speakers, she provides you with bona fide steps that you can take today, easy steps, to start moving forward. And, these are steps that she has not only tried herself but has tried for years... successfully. Hey, that is all I need to hear to go for that advice in my own life!

Hey, all, we have another awesome featured speaker for you today and she is Adrien Walker. She is one of our speakers in the "Package Your Brilliance" series.

[You know... I just realized, now, that Ms. Adrien has the same last name as my partner, Stacie Walker! Am I a doh doh, or what? LOL Oh, you don't have to answer that, I'll answer it for you 👌 hehe :) Great last name, y'all, eh? ]

I love that I have the opportunity to not only meet these wonderful people and listen as they share their wisdom, but I get to experience it again (many times) as I edit the videos for production. Some may view some tasks as work but this is actually a blessing! And, Adrien is no exception to that. She is a blessing to listen to and a joy to apply the knowledge and tips she shares.

One thing that struck me, on a personal level, was how contagious her smile is. I couldn't help but find myself smiling, as well. And, that is a gift! Not all people can bring that about in their audience. To be able to listen and feel the warmth and acceptance is really special. So, if this lady knows how to do that, you know she will know how to help you understand not only the importance but the HOW in building your tribe, and in particular, how to do that in email.

Good grief! I do some behind-the-scenes (or so I thought!) updating and it has to post every move I make on the page (like 3x of address updates?). Seriously? I don't even care, so why should anyone else LOL

I think if I posted that I sneezed, that would be more interesting than those updates.

(Oh, and who knows what the "content not available" posts were - 2 of them - because I am the supposed author and I don't know ROFL)
