Travis was a metalhead in high school until he heard the Black Flag "Nervous Breakdown" single in 1985. He had grown up with "New Wave Theater" on the TV as a child. Upon moving to Los Angeles at age 18, he began playing in bands such as Bulimia Banquet, Final Conflict and many others. He joined punk rock pioneers The Dickies in 1995 for about 15 years, recording two studio albums and multiple tou
rs. In the early 2000s, he performed with the reunited TSOL and well as playing drums behind HR of Bad Brains performing their material. After later living in Tacoma, Washington and reconnecting with the music scene, he has settled in Panama City Beach, Florida (a vacation spot when he was a young boy). He is set to host the 'Rock For Light' Radio Show, spinning 80s punk, hardcore and new wave. The show promises surprise guests to call in to talk about their experiences on recording some of the classic albums of the genre and performing in the burgeoning 80s punk rock scene.
